Paul O'Neil Foundation
Helping Families in Maine
About the Foundation

The Paul O'Neil Foundation was started by our family in 2004. We started the foundation in memory of our son and brother Paul who died in 2002 after living with cancer for over nine years.  Paul was the type of person who loved to help people.  We know that he would want us to continue to help people as he did and we thought this foundation would be a great way to do just that.  When Paul was sick most of his medical expenses were covered by medical insurance, but there were many other expenses related to the illness that put a financial strain on our family.  These items included gas to and from the clinic and hospital, food while we were at the hospital, and many items that Paul needed as his body changed due to medications.

Everything that is done in the world is done by hope.
